We took two day rides over Labor Day weekend. The first day we tried Mikes 610 Diner in Stafford, Va., for breakfast. The food and waitresses were good, but the kitchen was very slow due to a new cook. The building is old and quaint, but cleanliness is not their strong suite. Still the service and food make this a place to try, if you’re not in a hurry.

Breakfast on Labor Day was really good. We ate at The Old Country Buffet on Prince William Blvd, in Woodbridge, Va. The selection was vast and the food was excellent. The restaurant appeared to be clean and has comfortable seating. I recommend the breakfast buffet.
