Should You Cut Out Dietary Fat To Get Toned Arms?

Have you been considering different types of diets to reduce those fat arms? Have all the different options left you a little confused and stressed?

You see, with all the different choices floating around, how did you know which one to choose? Now don’t worry, I had to go through the same thing.

To make matters worse, all the marketing hype can further confuse you when it comes to making the right decision to get rid of fat arms because marketing makes each new fad seem like the best thing to have ever happened.

Thus, today I will provide an analysis of low fat diets for getting lean arms.

The benefits of this approach is that cutting out fat isn’t rocket science.

Here are the cons:

1. A metabolic drop: A lack of dietary fat will have your cellular machinery working at a crawl. You need fat in order to burn fat.

2. No more crossword puzzles: Cells in your brain need fat in order to communicate with speed. They also need fat in order to grow.

3. More sickness: This one is huge because once you get sick, your sexy arm mission will be delayed a lot. Again, your body needs fat to maintain a properly functioning immune system.

4. Insulin resistance: This translates into more nutrients going to your arm jiggle. Without fat, insulin resistance goes up. Not good for toned and sexy arms.

5. Hunger swings: Fat plays a critical role in slowing down digestion. So if you eliminate it, hunger and digestion will go for a roller coaster ride.

Following a low fat diet for getting toned arms is not a good choice. Although these types of diets used to be popular, they have now become obsolete. So don’t cut out fat from your meals!

One more thing: remember to take action quickly. You see, without action, this new information will be forgotten.

What The Supplement Companies Don’t Want You To Know

The majority of Americans take some type of dietary supplement to improve their health. Do you take supplements?

You see, as a nation we spend an absurd amount of money on supplements, to the tune of billions per year.

Unfortunately, a lot of what is sold to the public is under the umbrella of deceptive advertising. We are talking about fake pictures and ridiculous testimonials. Even worse, some supplements are extremely unhealthy.

Thus, without further delay, here are common falsehoods the supplement companies don’t want you to know:

1. They don’t have side effects: Look, just because the supplement companies market their products as natural does NOT mean there are 100% safe. In fact, there are many “natural” substances that are lethal. Also, remember that a lot of supplements are super concentrated concoctions of different ingredients. Thus, at this level, the naturalness tends to fade.

2. Dietary supplements are backed by peer reviewed research: Very few supplements actually undergo the rigors of peer reviewed research. In fact, the majority of research you see in the advertisements are fly-by-night studies performed by the companies themselves.

3. Supplement manufacturers are acting in our best interest: The bottom line is that millions and millions of dollars are spent on advertising to get you to buy. And the reality is that when so much money is involved, things can get a little out of control. Ephedra is a perfect example here. So please do not be swayed by the sexy advertising.

4. Word of mouth is reliable: Word of mouth is definitely convincing, but it should not be taken as the end all be all to a supplements efficacy. You see, the placebo effect is extremely strong. In fact, if you gave a sugar pill to 100 people, 40 would claim a noticeable difference!

The bottom line here is to stay away from all the advertising hype. Instead, stick to what has been proven by clinical trials as being effective. Anything less and you could be putting your health at risk!

Dangerous Fat Loss Supplements

Most fat loss supplements do not work. Others, can have profound and lasting effects on your body. And pretty much anybody with money can buy these supplements.

How is it that these things are so readily available? Well, first, the US government decided to deregulate the supplement industry over a decade ago. And, second, there are multiple websites that can get you the goods with little chance of detection.

So here is an overview of the weight loss dark side:

1. Anabolics. Commonly referred to as steroids, these substances are extremely powerful. They stimulate the body to build muscle mass and burn fat. Unfortunately, they can permanently damage your endocrine system.

2. Androstenedione. This supplement was made popular by Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa back when they were hitting countless homeruns. A less powerful form of a steroid, this supplement can have the same negative side effects. Considered a powerful aid, many companies can sell similar substances with little regulation.

3. The giant hormone. The main culprit for gigantism, human growth hormone is taken by many athletes for enhanced fat burning and muscle building. It truly is a wonder drug. But it also causes some nasty side effects like excessive organ growth.

4. Thyroid boosters. Not too long ago there were some thyroid boosters that hit the market. Anything that stimulates the thyroid will increase metabolism (i.e., calories burned). Unfortunately, such supplements can have dire consequences for the heart.

5. Herbs. In an attempt to piggy back the illegality of steroids, many companies have begun to sell herbal preparations that allegedly increase testosterone production. The bottom line, however, is that these supplements do not work.

Most companies selling supplements to the public are not regulated. So please do a lot of research before adding a supplement to your daily dietary regimen. And taking something powerful like anabolic steroids, although effective, has some very dangerous side effects. In the end, losing weight with a sound nutrition and exercise program is the best way to go.

The Truth Behind Thin Arms And Artificial Sweeteners

High sugar intakes and thin arms do not mix well. Hence, the utility of artificial sweeteners. They provide the taste without the calories.

Seems like a good deal, right?

Well, recent research has been demonstrating that artificial sweeteners are extremely unhealthy to the point of causing cancer.

So without further ado, here is what you need to know about low calorie sweeteners and sexy arms:

1. They can increase cancer. Large intakes of artificial sweeteners have been linked to increases in cancer of up to 30%. So I wouldn’t suggest loading up on endless cans of diet soda. And make sure you don’t have more than a couple servings of any sweetener per day.

2. They’re within many products. Companies love to inject their food with abundant and varied quantities of artificial sweeteners because it allows them to market products as being low calorie. So beware and lookout for sweeteners in all places.

3. Studies showing safety have NOT been long term. Every single study done on artificial sweeteners has been short term. Not good. And most of them have been conducted by the manufactures. Thus, the research is both short term and biased.

4. Equal/NutraSweet has been found to be toxic. Also known as aspartame, an enormous rodent study clearly showed increased cancer rates. And although rodent studies don’t necessarily translate to humans, this is definitely a red flag.

5. Just because it’s natural doesn’t make it safer. Stevia use to be my favorite sweetener because it’s natural. Then I came across some research showing that it converts into a mutagen within the human intestine. Not good, even if you really want thin arms!

Nobody knows if artificial sweeteners are safe in the long run. So please do not assume that you can load up on this stuff without any ill consequences. And please ignore all the marketing hype. The research proving long term safety does NOT exist. In the end, getting thin and sexy arms should not decrease your health. It should increase it.
